Allys Shrimp


	Designed by Alisdair Gowans, Allys shrimp is probably the most used pattern for Salmon fishing in Scotland. Fish the fly on an intermediate or sink tip to get the fly down a bit. Try smaller sizes than would you would use on bigger rivers, say a size 8 or 10 hook. Alternatively fish the treble hook version on a size 12 hook for sea-trout.
