June:2004 Here follow reports on the last two competitions: Club Competition no 3 Auchalochy wed 26th may 7pm The weather was quite mild with a very gentle wind which sometimes dropped away to nothing making the fishing difficult. Senior winner was Neil Brown with a brown trout of 1lb almost a duplicate of the one he caught in the last competition The juniors broke their duck with Donnie Lawson catching a fish that got him on the scoreboard. Well done Neil & Donnie. R.Houston trophy and club Competition no 4 Lussa Loch Wed 9th June 7pm Again the weather was mild with a light wind and conditions were good apart from the midges No juniors were fishing the competition but the seniors were adequately represented. Five fish were weighed in, all of which were Rainbow trout.Results as follows: 1. C.Cranston 1 fish 3lb 12oz 2. Alec McAllister 1 fish 2lb 4oz 3. Joint Robert Wilson & Neil Mcnaughton 1 fish each of 2lb 2oz 5. Andy Coffield 1 fish 2lb 1oz Congratulations to the winner Next competiton is on Lussa Loch on 27th June at 2pm Could all anglers please remember to take their rubbish & nylon home with them and not leave it on the loch.
