Lussa loch was stocked again this time with 700 rainbow trout so catches should increase again over the next few weeks.

A competition was held at Lussa Loch on Saturday 10th July at 2pm . The weather was overcast with a stiff breeze
blowing from the boatshed bank. Fifteen adults & one junior turned out and 10 fish were caught in total.
Results are as follows:

1. Reid Anderson - 3 fish for 4 lbs 4oz
2. Joint - Alec McAllister & N.Mcnaughton with two fish each for 4lb each
4. John MacDonald - two fish for 2 lbs 4oz
5. Richard Macallum - one fish for 1 lb 12oz

Well done to the winners and better luck next time to the rest.

The club has a good membership of Juniors with 34 joining this year, they are reminded that fly tying classes
are available in the Shore St Clubhouse on Mondays at 7.30 pm, newcomers are welcome as well.
