The president opens his speech by mentioning that there is not a big turnout of members at the A.G.M due to the Rangers game on that night.
Condolences are given on the death of the clubs late treasurer MR R.Smith.
The president apologises to members over the early calling of the A.G.M and explains that the reason for this, is that this was to allow time for all paperwork to be done for memberships next year and in some cases these would have to be posted out. This was to avoid a large bill in commission.
The new treasurer and current secretary were thanked for the work they have carried out this year and the members showed their appreciation with a round of applause.
The president brought up the lease arrangements for Auchalochy/Crosshill lochs with Bell Ingram. The rent for these now is being £250 per Annum. Duncan Johnstone asked on clause about damage by anglers in lease document. The president replied that the club would cover only damage caused by Anglers
Thanks were given to Sandy Fraser for organising kids nights & fly tying.
The president also asked the members to be patient on grant applications as these took a long time to come to fruition due to planning permissions & quotes etc…
The A.G.M would normally be held on a Friday but this was not possible this year due to the treasurer's job being on shifts and he couldn't make the Friday date.

Subscriptions would be collected in clubhouse on a Thursday night. Also mentioned was that the tourist board would sell memberships for us for a 10% commission if McGrorys were not able to anymore. Also the tourist board would be open on a Sunday and the club would be mentioned in their publications.
