Not many reports this month as I haven't been fishing much. I had a report in of several sea trout being caught in Backswater burn in Machrihanish. Here follows the result of a recent competition on Lussa Loch.
The Kintyre Angling club held its last club competiton of 2004 on Lussa Loch on the 14th August 2004.
The weather was warm and sunny with a small breeze. 15 anglers turned out including three juniors.
The results are as follows:

Reid Anderson 2 fish for 5lbs 12oz
David Mckillop 2 fish for 3lbs 4oz
Sandy Fraser 1 fish for 1lb 1oz
The junior competition was won by Donnie Lawson with one fish

Carradale & Kintyre club anglers are reminded that the Kincarra shield competitions are to be held on Sunday 26th September on Tangy Loch & Sunday 3rd October on Lussa Loch. Both at 2pm.
